Many children come home to a meal cooked by their parents. Orion’s University believes that sometimes the parents should come home to a meal cooked by their children. This program explores the culinary world broaching issues of kitchen safety, nutrition, and flavor profiles. Participants will leave with a basic knowledge of food preparation.

From karate chops to sweep kicks, this program explores movement in the process of self-­‐defense and pseudo-­‐combat for showmanship. The most powerful part of this program is not just the round-­‐house kick that participants will practice; it is the meditative mind and the power of strong thinking.

Dance happens when beats and rhythm tell the body what to do. This program builds on major concepts of anatomy and physiology in order to explore movement safety, basic dance concepts, and the exploration of diverse dance genres. “Oh, you (O.U.) think you can dance?”

Yoga w/ Creative Movements
This program combines stretching, kinesthetic interpretation, music, anatomy concepts, and physiology. Students are learning all the exciting ways their bodies can move, bend, and stretch while strengthening their fine and major motor skills and coordination.
